Tahiti hosts Olympic, World and European Champions!

The 2nd ICF Ocean Racing Word Championships, taking place in Tahiti, in French Polynesia later this week, will count with many canoeing stars, from different disciplines.

Sean Rice(RSA), 2013 Ocean Racing Champion in SS1 Men along with Michele Eray (USA), winner in SS1 Women will compete in the Pacific Ocean in October 2nd and 3rd.

Olympic champions in Canoe Sprint will also be present in this event, like the master Clint Robison K1 champion in Barcelona 92, Murray Stuart, K4 Champion in London 2012 and Krisztina Fazekas, Champion in K4 500 also in London.

Other canoeing stars from Marathon will also take part, with special attention to Hank Mcgregor, K1 Men World Champion in Marathon for the past years.

European Champion in Ocean Racing in 2014 Yannick Laousse (FRA) is other of the paddlers present for this event.

A total of 22 countries and 180 athletes will compete in the 2015 ICF Ocean Racing World Championships.

The event will be broadcasted LIVE in Tahiti National TV(TNTV) and also livestreamed in Planet Canoe YouTube channel.

The provisional start list will be available, tomorrow, 28 of September 2015.
